CNC E3 – new spoil boards

Spoilboards have been replaced after the circular incident, where a sliding tool caused damage to two of the three boards, beyond repair.

The tool also hit one of the bolts holding the spoilboard. The bolt was completely demolished, and the helicoil was ripped out of the cnc-bed causing irreparable damage to the bed.
The helicoil was refitted. It will never hold as well as before, but properly well enough until the CNC base is replaced sometime in the future.
There will be a service fee for replacing the damaged parts.

Under the first plate a small secret was hidden. Someone has drilled a hole in the spoilboard. To repair / hide the mistake a wooden dowel was glued into the board – and into the CNC-base.
This also has been fixed. But this is NOT an accepted procedure. All mishaps and breakdowns must be reported to the workshop staff.

Workaround has been found. The CNC is ready for the next round(s).
Happy cnc’ing…
